w00t! It's almost here. I've only waited for six years, have suffered through months of self doubt only to arrive with a stronger resolve to do this.
The time has come! the walrus said. to talk of many things, of shoes and ships and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings. And why the sea is boiling hot and whether pigs have wings! ~Thru the looking glass. Anyway, I'm really excited. Anyone else starting NOBO around then? It'd be great to have some company.

May good luck be your friend in whatever you do and may trouble be always a stranger to you.

I am starting north on the 5th but have a couple of <10 mile days first and then mostly <15 for 30 days. I figure I will be moving slow and steady with shelters as targets most days.
