Default Baxter State Park

My 3 and a half year old daughter will be spending three nights and four days in Baxter State Park during the middle of August.

I've never been to the northern part of the park. It was suggested that we stay at the following campgrounds:
1 - South Branch campground
2 - Trout Brook Farm campground

These will be great spots to pitch our tent, do some moose watching, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking (with pull cart) and loon listening.

I was surprised at how different the northern part of the park was and how much flatter it is than the southern section is.

Looking forward to the time together with her.

Peace be with you
