Grace, it is really hard to predict mileage as there are so many variables. I did record my average mileage for each section. Hope this helps.

NC/TN: 17.1
VA: 18.2
PA/MD: 17.7
NJ/NY: 19.7
CT/MA: 15.5
VT: 17.2
NH: 15.0
ME: 14.4

I intentionally started slowly and picked it up out of Hot Springs. My average through the Whites is surprising. I would have guessed 10 instead of 15 mpd. The Whites slowed me so that I actually thought I was sick. I was 52 years old at the time, but had a very light load.
