Tomorrow marks the 2 year anniversary since Wiloby, Labrat, McRich, and QuarterPounder started from Springer. We were given a great send-off by Slowpace and Mumbles... although they brought a lot of rain with them .

Anyway, due to the explosion of pollen in the air and Wiloby's asthma, he had to stop at Dragon's Tooth. Tomorrow, he begins again from there and I am thrilled to be joining him for the next chapter. Actually, I'm only going for a few weeks... Wiloby will go much, much, farther!

I'll give a report on the progress a little later.

Yep, the pack is still heavy! We're on day 10 and we've gone 126.5 miles. Have seen McCaffe Knob, Tinker Cliffs, The Guillotine and some great vistas along the way. One bad thing though, it's now March 22 and spring is all around us....What's The Deal ? Temps have been in the high 70's. More later. R.A.Wizard.

Wiloby update... After a great 12 days with Wiloby, I left the trail on Saturday. It was a very enjoyable walk from Dragons Tooth. Last I saw him, he was eating pizza and having a soda at Reeds Gap in Virginia after descending Three Ridges. I really enjoyed the reunioin hike with Wilobly and COB (another fellow 2010 hiker).

I just heard that he got to Waynesboro yesterday and he is heading into Shenandoah National Park this morning.

I'm praying for cool weather and low pollen counts to keep his asthma in check and I plan to see him when he gets to Snickers Gap in about a week.
