Default Daughters first AT experience

Today I get to take my daughter on the AT for the first time. She turned 12 weeks old this week.
We'll be stopping at every blaze for pictures. She has a trach and is on oxygen so I'll have to figure out home to keep the tanks and stuff out of the pictures. I can't wait for it to warm up!!!

If the O2 tanks are a permanent part of your daughter's life why worry about them in the pictures, unless she is self-conscious about them.

I have great respect for anyone who wants to spend time with and involve their children in the sport of hiking. I also respect the children for doing it and more so for your daughter if she needs to carry an O2 bottle! Instead of trying to hide them take greater pride in her for not letting them be her excuse for not wanting to get out and enjoy the outdoors - just my .02

Well, it rained all day for us. So we made a quick trip today up to Indian Grave Gap for a picture or two. If the weather is better tomorrow we plan on going up to Beauty Spot.
